I've been having way too much fun with my current steampunk fascination and I'm eagerly awaiting the theatrical release of the Golden Compass. I'm reading the book now because I can't read the book after I see it as a movie...just a personal quirk. Anyway, they had this quiz on the website and it not only takes my input, but the input of my friends. So if you have the time, please click the link below and transform my daemon.

Ok, so I'm better at starting projects than I am at finishing them, so here's another start. I've been trying to work on a strip for a long time, but I wasn't able to find a style I could consistently draw characters in that made me happy (ie. wasn't ooogly or creepy or a rip-off of someone else's style...well not too closely anyway).
So here's the first draft of character sketches.

So...my current magnum opus (well, at the least the start of the latest one) is to illustrate Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. I have my sketchbook with 70 pages and I'm gonna see if I can paint every one of them with a scene from the story and keep it in order. So far I have the second panel painted, and the first and third panels sketched out. At this rate, I'll be done in just under a year...if my attention span lasts that long and work does't take up all of my time.
Wish me luck!
